Senior management in MMS is experienced in negotiation & recruitment of physicians and can play an important support role in the initial discussions with the physician groups. An additional benefit to early involvement by MMS is the operating structure will be immediately apparent to the prospective practices.
- MMS will meet with hospital management to assist in the identification of “target” groups who may be desirable MSO acquisitions.
- MMS will develop and propose options for managing reimbursement bundling as/if that concept evolves.
- MMS will manage the implementation of the MSO wide Electronic Medical Record.
- MMS will develop and maintain a “profit culture” within each practice of the MSO.
